Mel has been on the radio across New Zealand for 15 years and currently can be heard on Mix 98.2 in Auckland as well as being a familiar face on TV. Mel has hosted the design show ‘My Dream Room Kids Edition’ and sat in the hosting chair on The Crowd Goes Wild. Mel is mad about sailing!

Broadcaster Carly Flynn is a New Zealand journalist, presenter, MC and host, who’s worked in the industry for more than 20 years. Carly is passionate about meeting people and sharing inspirational stories with others. Carly has presented Nightline, Sunrise, 3News, 60 Minutes & Target as well as lifestyle TV shows Cook the Books, the Healthy Food Guide and The Cafe. She’s a regular face across all of Mediaworks News and Lifestyle shows, and is a popular MC. Originally from Taupo, New Zealand, Carly lives on Auckland’s North Shore with husband Dave and their three children Tilly, Jude & Freddie.

Rachel joined The Café: At Home editions during NZ’s lockdown, baking recipes from her home kitchen. After 20+ years in the media (as a TV producer, journalist and news reporter) Rachel started up her One Handed Baker blog to share her love of baking. Her recipes are simple and delicious, and were all originally made one-handed while filming on her iPhone with the other hand! She lives in Auckland with her husband, two kids and three rescue animals.

Mark is the resident chef on the cafe, a day time magazine show that airs on TV3 week days from 9am, cooking simple, fast and tasty dishes from around the world. Mark is also the executive chef of the Auckland iconic restaurant, O’Connell street bistro. He has also published my first cook book ‘Southon Cooking’ based around beautiful New Zealand produce.

Hamish Dodd

Hamish Dodd

Hamish Dodd is one of New Zealand’s most experienced TV people. As a presenter, Hamish has hosted countless TV series including 8 seasons of My House MY Castle for TVNZ, 4 seasons of The Café for THREE and 2 seasons of The 100 Day Home which has been licenced worldwide on Netflix, a format that he is also credited at a Creator and Producer. As a Producer, Hamish is currently midway through a major primetime home series starring one of New Zealand’s biggest stars, former All Black Rugby player, Sir John Kirwan.
