1kg Beef Rump Cut Into 1 Inch Cubes
2 Large Red Onions
Dried Oregano
Cooked Rice
Sauce
2 Onions
2 Cloves Garlic
8 Bacon Slices
2 Red Capsicums Diced
2 Yellow Capsicums Diced
500ml Chicken Stock
500ml Beef Stock
1 Large Dill Pickle
1/4 Cup Dill Pickling Juice
2 tsp Dijon Mustard
3 tsp Sweet Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne Powder
2 Bay Leaves
2 Cloves
1 Cup Ketchup

Skewer the meat and onions in sequence onto metal rods, season with oregano, salt and pepper and colour in a large deep pot until browned on all sides. Remove and make the sauce in the same pot.

In the same pot as you cooked the skewers, add a little more oil and sauté off the bacon, then add the onions, garlic and capsicums and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Add rest of the sauce ingredients, bring to the boil and then simmer and add the meat skewers, cook for 1 hour, lid on. Remove lid and cook for another 30 minutes then remove meat and bay leaves, blend the sauce to thicken.
