Ingredients

1 Onion Chopped
1 Chilli Chopped
2 Tins Plum Tomatoes
1 Handful Breadcrumbs
250g Beef
250g Minced Pork
4 Slices Smoked Bacon Diced
1 Pinch Nutmeg
3 Sprigs Thyme Finely Chopped
1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary Finely Chopped
Fresh Marjoram Chopped
Lemon Zest
1 Egg Yolk
Parmesan Shavings
1 Punnet Cherry Tomatoes
1 Packet Spaghetti

Done

Sweat the onions in olive oil until soft, add the chilli, tinned toms and a cup of water, season lightly and simmer for 30 minutes

In a bowl mix together the meats, nutmeg, breadcrumbs, herbs, egg and lemon zest until combined then season.

Shape into small balls, brown off in a pan with a little oil then add back to the tomato sauce and slowly braise until cooked, around 40 minutes.

Finish with fresh chopped marjoram and shaved Parmesan and serve over spaghetti.
