Steps

1
Done

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan bake). Preheat your baking tray or baking stone.

2
Done

If using a stand mixer, mix ingredients straight into the bowl… Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add in the oil and water. Mix to combine. The dough should be soft but not sticky. (If it needs loosening up, add more water).

3
Done

Either mix in a stand mixer for 2 mins, or tip out onto a floured surface and knead by hand for 3-4 mins.

4
Done

Divide into two. Roll out each half to fit your baking sheet or pizza stone. Bake for 10 mins.

5
Done

Peel the garlic cloves and pop them straight into a blender to blitz.

6
Done

Add the tinned tomatoes, tomato paste, oil, vinegar, salt and herbs to taste.

7
Done

Blend until well combined.

Note: This sauce can keep in the fridge for a few days, or freezes well for 2 months.

8
Done

Add straight to your pizza base, sprinkle on cheese, toppings and bake for a further few minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
